Park at the visitor centre car park, located on Scenic drive between Titirangi and Waiatarua.
The visitor centre has much to offer and is well worth a look, the views from the deck are enough reason to come here alone. Across the road are two nature trails and a plant identification trail.
The cache is not located in any of the above mentioned areas, far too many muggles, but on a track that runs from the plant identification trail. The track is well graded and graveled; the total distance from the car park to the cache is about 350m.
Please use the tunnel under the road to cross, its much safer.
The cache is available at night, but personally I would not leave a car here unattended at night. I think the tunnel is also locked at night.
Please respect the bush, there is no need to bush bash. Coverage can be difficult so please use the clue if you are unsure.
