Time Flies - July 9 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Graffixx: A Barre Town Police Officer informed me that placing any object on property belonging to a municipality or the State of Vermont is illegal. I have spent a good deal of tome and money placing caches throughout Vermont, and apparently, a good share of them are illegally placed. Due to the complexity of my cache series, the costs associated with, and the time that would need to be invested, removing and replacing them is just not an option. Therefore, to insure compliance with the laws of the State of Vermont, and effected municipalities, I am choosing to archive al of my caches. It is unfortunate, however I see no other options. I thank everyone who took the time to find my caches, and apologize to anyone currently in progress on any of my series. It has been a pleasure

Geocache Description:

In life we all reach a point where we say, "were did the time go". It seems that as we go through life we pay little or no attention to the amount of time that passes. And then one day, it hits us.

On several occasions I have found myself looking back at years gone by and realize just how much has changed. Not only with things around me, but myself as well. A little less hair (ok a lot less), a little extra weight, and a little less get up and go (usually during hunting season it shows most). I take it in stride, it happens to all of us.

One day while pondering the next collection of caches to put out, I made the comment that time flies. Luna suggested a series to mark the passing time, and how it flies by. So here it is. The Time Flies collection, dedicated to the passing of days and how quickly they go.

These will be spread out and the hides may vary some. The goal is to hide them in keeping with Battleship and Monopoly, mostly roadside and mostly winter friendly.

Today in history -1969 - Tom Seaver's no-hit bid against Cubs ends with 1 out in 9th
