Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

A small container in the area of Keyes Beach. Take the steps towards the flagpole. No need to go over any fence.

Please replace the cache on it's side so that it is less visible to muggles. Thanks.

When placed there was no sign of trash in the area. Continue up to the bluff for a nice view.

This is a great beach to watch the boats come and go in and out of Hyannis harbor.

There is a potential for high tourist activity come summer time.

Contains the usual goodies along with the logbook and pen.

I'm out visiting from Los Angeles and wanted to place a local cache that will be maintained by my sister Ackidge.

My great-grandparents and grand-parents lived on this street and I was born just around the corner. Now our son goes to school a few streets away. My grandmother used to tell me about playing on this beach as a child, but I was too young to remember doing it myself. Thanks for bringing us here on this 'winter-Cape' day. TFTH

DNF. Checked all the way under the hinted at location, and I found a scrap of logbook crumpled up, last dates from July.. Checked all the other locations in case I misinterpeted the clue, but with zero success. Believe this one is gone. IF it was hidden where the hint says it would be, it would be very visible to muggles going up to Flagpole if it wasn't re-hidden well.. Also, there were TONs of trash, and broken bottles in the suspected hiding spots, I'm glad I wore thick gloves. :-)

We were in Albany for my step-son’s wedding and afterward, went to Massachusetts for a few days. For a resort area, there were remarkably few caches on the Cape and many seem to have gone missing. For this one, I parked nearby and walked a bit. As I was looking, one of the staff asked if I was playing the "computer game." I said I was. She explained that when the first cachers appeared they almost called the police, but once they knew about the game, it was cool. I did need the hint to find this one as the coords took me to a likely, but wrong spot. Great view.

This was fun. It was 8:30 PM and in the dark. My wife had the great idea of where we should look, but we did not listen and searched around instead for many minutes. As you would expect she was right, we found it and rejoiced. This was the first find our family did on our own without The Coachjones Clan going with us. It was really fun! Thanks.

Last time I was at this beach (I'm from Toronto) it was at around 11pm 15yrs ago when I proposed to my wife, she loves the Kennedys and since you can see their summer place from hear I thought it was a good idea.

This time I am here with my family. My older son (11yrs) just wants to stay in the car and read, my younger son(9yrs) took my camera and is taking pictures of a bunny rabbit (his favorite) and my wife is walking on the beach. Me, I'm finding my 300th cache. I guess we are all doing what we like.

Drizzley day and at 5pm the parking is free because the guys are gone.

Third time's a charm (and replaced cache helps too). First time was in Feb., when the only other guy walking the beach decided to sit down on the bench right on the old GZ coordinates. Second time, this spring, I found nothing but broken bottles and trash. Today I had a short break and decided to swing in after 5 - didn't need a sticker or pay then - and even thought I didn't have my GPS with me I remembered the clue. Retrieved it promptly and enjoyed the view. Not sure if this specific depth of placement is exactly what was intended, based on previous logs, but tried to make it hidden but accessible to people of all sizes. SL, TFTC.

BTW, does anyone know if this is a good beach for actual beach activities? I vaguely recall some old reputation about a little seediness, but it seemed so nice today.

I had stopped by in February but the ONLY OTHER PERSON ON THE BEACH decided to sit on the bench right by where the coordinates were pointing. Attending the 2008 NEARC Conference and grabbed this cache on an early morning walk with fellow cachers marchers and ktwoody (and alter ego SPris). As some other cachers noted the coordinates were a bit off. Picked up a new set at N41. 38.147 W070 17.469. It's also worth noting that you don't need to climb around on the bluff/dunes in order to find the cache - have to protect that seaside vegetation. Left Map@Syst geocoin. SL TFTC

The beach here is beautiful. The water is very still as it is so protected by the surrounding sea wall. We met some very nice people (locals) walking on the beach. Found today with Scout Troop 112 from South Grafton (T112-Penguins) and TeamOreoCookies. This cache was 5 of 5 we did today. Got here late so it was getting dark, 7 sets of eyes were looking for this, a headlamp from doublestuff's cache bag was what we needed to realize that we were right on top of the cache just about the whole time we were looking but needed the light to make the find.

Very windy day. Lots of trash and evidence of wild parties and other things - even saw a plate of fresh food in a nearby tree - apparently delivery makes very unusual stops. Picked up the Up, Up, and Away travel coin. Can't see that it is logged in anywhere (PC88ZZ). Good hide but with the help of Confluenceman we found it. Thanks for the fun and great spot.

Got it at 1710 hrs as we left Hyannis. A very pretty spot, and quiet at this time of day. Scarlett03 and I looked for a while with no luck, then I returned from the parking lot with an idea - and there it was! Not a common type of hide in Canada, where a few feet of snow for 4 to 6 months are typical! I took the "Falling Waters" geocoin and left a Winnipeg, Manitoba, pin, a green ball and a Maple Leaf pin. Cheers,

This one took a little to find. Coordinates had us looking in another area for a long time. GPSr would occasionally point to GZ, but would then move back to where we were looking originally. Finally increased our search radius and found it. Coordinates we got were not significantly different than what is listed. The cache was just disguised well. Thanks! TNSL, left a geocoin.

BV and I were back in the area today on a Road Rally (like a scavenger hunt) and just happened to have to come to this beach for some info. Since we only had a couple more places to hit for the rally, with hours to spare before we had to check in, we decided to take another look for the cache, without GPSrs. Went to the area we had previously searched and there it was!! Very pleased to be able to sign log, but then could not find listing to log it online. Did not realize cache had been archived for "missing". It IS there!!!

Found it with Posterdad right after the sun set. Great view but played merry hell with my ability to see clearly. To my dismay the cache was too small to leave a CD behind. So I guess I'll just leave a link to a site where you can hear some of the songs that are on the CD that would have been in the cache.. (visit link) enjoy!

Down the Cape for a b-ball tournament and decided to find some caches in between games. What a great spot!! Loved the beach with the sea grass and dunes. We walked on the beach and gathered some scallop shells. We also saw a flock of seagulls; we felt at home then. We TN and left a frog. Thanks for showing us this spot...we'll definitely be back in the summer.

Great day, can't believe that just last week there was a foot of snow. Today there might be a foot of goose poop, but not really. Came here as part of the pre-lunch CITO group. thanks.
For a short time this cache is the most southerly and easterly cache I've visited, previous E was up in Maine and previous S was Conn-Mass-RI tri-state corner. This cache will remain my southernmost visit for a while, but today I did several more easterly.

The last cache of the day. Aunt Fone and I looked around for about 15 mins. The trash in the area really made it an unpleasant task. I did see one small round plastic container, but it looked like someone threw it there after eating whatever was in it. I wasn't about to check.
This is a nice beach. Too bad the cache is located in a trashy area.

Stopped by to do this one while on our usual visit to the Cape-

I tried this one last night around 10:00 p.m. but scored a DNF. I only searched for a short time because there were people nearby on the beach and I was making them nervous (and vice versa).
I came back this morning and was glad I did because the sun, the air, and the water were spectacular! I found the cache pretty quickly near where I had been last night.
I took something and left something but I am not quite sure what. This was one of about 12 caches I found in the last few days (but it was easily the most enjoyable)!

It was so frustrating when this cache popped up less than two miles from work yesterday and my GPS was at home. I stopped by this early this morning, sure one our local FTF hounds (or perhaps rodent?)would have beaten me there, but success was mine. I swear I heard a Mini Cooper as I left!

Swapped the Cape Cod Lobster TB for Red Hat Roz. Lady Di will love this little Teddy Bear.
