brokev7: Mixtil, I don't agree that you disabled this cache as it has been recently replaced, but since I am currently living in Hungary there is no way that I can check on it, which is why I am forced to archive it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Geocache Description:

The city of Zarcero lies 1,736 meters above sea level in the Central Valley, 50 kilometers norhtwest of the of the provincial capital city of Alejuela.

From wikipedia: Zarcero's pink and blue church was constructed in 1895. The interior features very nice paintings of the stations of the cross. Materials for the construction of the church are not what they seem. Columns are painted to look like marble, and the exterior is metal siding, not brick as it appears.

The park sits in front of the church at the town center. It is noted for its topiary garden produced and maintained by Evangelisto Blanco since the 1960s. Shrubs in the park have been trimmed into the shapes of various animals, including some that are quite abstract and bizarre.

We decided to move the cache somewhere safer on 1/31/10. Please update the new coordinates mentioned below.

It's still around the church, but the NEW coordinates will take you to the garden, where the shrub statues are. It should be muggle free, and you will be protected when you go under the big tree to look for the cache! It's still a nano, too small for a trade, so BYOP to sing the log! Enjoy!
