Geocache Description:

This is a relatively easy cache to find, but there is a long hill to climb to get to the top.

This cache is in Mission Trails Regional Park which is formerly known as Camp Elliott which was a bombing training area during World War II. You will see signs stating not to pick up old ordinence (so take heed!!!!) I believe this is also near Fortuna Mountain. The hike is only about 1.5 miles and you should enter from the dead end of Mast Blvd. and park on the road. The park gates open at 8Am and are shut at 7Pm, and they lock the gates on time. Alot of people ride mountain bikes on this trail, but the cache is in a location where you would have a hard time riding up the hill. Since this was a military training ground, I made the contents of the cache from old military items I had around the house from my days in the Marines.
