Welcome to West Hempstead! This is the 67th in my series of visiting the different towns and villages on Long Island. This cache is a 35mm film canister. It is an easy park and grab. Parking can be found in the facility's lot.
This cache can be found at Echo Park. I was surprised that there wasn't a cache here! I lived in Franklin Square for 7 years back in the late 70's and early 80's and used to swim here in the winter. It's got a really neat indoor pool. As with all of my micros, it contains a log only. So, please be sure to bring a writing utensil that can write on Tyvek. Please be stealthy when searching for the cache. Kindly return the cache to it’s original location.
