Located in the San Francisco, East Bay area, in Fremont. Easy access from Interstate 680 via the Washington Ave. exit. Located on the East side of I680. Safe parking on a residential street. Sometime in July of 04 the cache was taken by aliens or muggles. The second cache was put out on the 60th anniversary of D-Day, the day after Ronald Reagan died. It’s too bad the muggles didn’t leave the first camera.
The new cache is a plastic nut jar covered with black duct tape. Hopefully the muggles wont snatch this, the third one. It is not located in the same place as the original cache. It is probably a couple hundred feet away. The new contents are various little trinkets, and the obligatory cache note, log book, and a pen.
Previous cachers have warned of poision oak, but I don't think you,ll find any around the new location. Although there is more than one way in, it is recommended that you park on Luzon Dr. at Corte De Orinda (N37° 31.719', W121° 56.234'). Go through the gate on the West side of the street. There are a lot of buckeyes on the path this time of year.
