CatDog&Pups: I picked up this cache since I am not able to maintain it. The log was full and I don't live close enough to keep the longs fresh. Was fun trying to find this cache again amazing how much the things around the cache have grown since I was there last.

I hope everyone enjoyed this cache while it was there. I had fun reading the longs of peoples visits.

Geocache Description:

Terrain is a 1.5 just because I don't think a wheel chair can get here to easily. You will be on turf for pretty much the whole walk to the cache. I have this listed as a mystery on accident and can't change it with out resubmitting. It is actually a traditional.

This is a log only cache, bring your own writing utinsel. We have the diff rating at a 4, please give us input if you think it should be less. This cache is to commemorate the first date of Angela and Cody. From that date in February 16, 1995 came the creation of CatDog&Pups. We played with the coords to see where we could incorporate 02/16/95 somewhere and this is what we came up with. We had several areas we could do but most were not going to work such as one that ended up in the middle of a road in a residential area. Another would have been good if people didn't mind stopping on the shoulder of I-5 and going into the middle median... Yeah we didn't think that would be a good place either. The best place we came up with was here but with one problem. When I put the coords in my Mapsource, It proved to be very close to one of Travisl's caches (won't say which, as not to ruin the fun of getting it for people). Well I measured it and figured it out to be 547 feet from Travisl's. I know all you math whizzes are saying what I said, "That is only 19 feet over the 1/10th of a mile rule". Well after shooting an email to Travis to see how he would feel about us putting it so close, and thinking about the fact that really these are the only caches in this immediate neighborhood, we decided to do it. We want to give a big thanks to Travis for not having a problem with us putting it so close to his. On our first date on this day 9 years ago, we did something we enjoyed. Sure it may have consisted of a small tavern, some beer/wine coolers, and a bit of pool, in the very small town we both grew up in. It was fun never the less. Now we are going to commemorate it doing something we really enjoy, Geocaching. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PLACE CACHE CONTAINER BACK """"EXACTLY"""" AS YOU FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE HINT WILL SPOIL THE FIND SO DON'T DO IT UNTIL NECESSARY.!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT GIVE ANY HINTS TO THE CACHE CONTAINER IN YOUR LOG OR IT WILL BE DELETED!!!!!!!!!!!!
