Remember to use maps and work out approaches first. Read the
warnings This is a four stage multi. There are three micro caches
with the co-ordinates for the next stage. It will take you several
hours.
There are some very steep sections. Some very boggy sections. Some
sections which are just wet, oh and steep and exposed and perhaps a
little scary. It does involve crossing sections of open moorland,
walking along stream beds and walking very close to the edge of
vertical drops at the edge of crags.
The route will be between 6 and 10 miles and will involve a couple
of thousand feet of ascent and descent.No specialist equipment is
required. Though please make sure you take a map as the approach to
some of the sections could result in serious injury or worse if you
get it wrong.
Please do not attempt this multi in severe weather or the dark.
Some stages take you very close to vertical drops.
Night visits and visits in poor visibility are really not
recomended. Enough warnings.
This cache is serious but is meant to be an adventure, please enjoy
the experience. After Langdens completion of this cache please note
that the final co-ordinates are not accurate and you would in fact
be very unlikely to get a signal at all. Therefore I have quoted
Langden directly. "The final set coordinates will leave you about
10 metres short of the actual cache and 20 metres above it."
Additional clues may be made available in stage 3 in the near
future. Be sensible don't approach it directly from above.
