Visit one of the beautiful
places in Northern Province of Zambia
The Mutumuna Falls are part of the Chishimba
Fall area, located just 37km north-west of Kasama. The site belongs
to the National Heritage Commission of Zambia. With friendly and
welcoming support from the office of the NHC Northern Province I
was able to place the cache. If you plan to come to Northern
Province you have to see the Chishimba Falls. There are more
beautiful Waterfalls in Northern Province. You can get more
information at the NHC office which is located in Kasama
.
Terrain: -bush, well maintained paths,
possibility to swim in the lake above the
rapids
Cache Details:
-hidden near the Mutumuna
Fall; contains a logbook, a pencil (please don't
remove!)
Initial items to
trade: -ball pen, "save drinking water" tablets
(1tab/1liter), tablet to treat mosquito nets
Precautions:
-use a
flashlight/long stick before taking the container, a snake might
hide there in the cool shade!!!, wet and slippery during rain
season
