Geocache Description:

This was part of the orignal road. This small piece of the old road starts where I have place the cache and ends by the GWR cache. You can start at either end and hike this .5 mile strip.

There are many little segment of the first road as you travel stagecoach road. On many of them you can see where the Chinese had to dig ruts into the rocky parts of the road. You can start at GWR and get the cache. Then walk back to GWR cache on the road.
