Geocache Description:

Although situated in woodland this cache is named after the nearby recreation ground and is ideal for a quick ‘cache and dash’.

The satellite reception under the trees can be erratic – but the final fix I got for the cache was to within 22ft.

Parking is available in the park at 51°16.537N 000°04.442W (but do ensure that you won’t get locked in!) or in St Katherine’s Road at 51°16.530N 000°04.709W or alternatively on Tupwood Lane at 51°16.407N 000°04.718W and then access via the footpath.

The area can be busy with dog walkers so take care not to be spotted – and please ensure you re-hide the cache carefully.

Contents of the cache when placed : First to Find pin, magnetic letter ‘T’, whistle, Surrey Air Ambulance trolley token, sea shell, Continental pin, silica gel (please do not take!), log book and pencil. The cache is not very big so small swaps only please.
