Geocache Description:


Al-Shawki is one of the wadis that flow in Rawdat Al-Tenhat garden at the base of Al-Dahna red dunes. Al-Tenhat is a large park-like area covered with lush green plants especially after rain. Trees line up along Wadi Al-Shawki making it an interesting drive and a popular picnic route that attracts campers from the areas around.

The cache is several kilometers south west of Rawdat Al-Tenhat. The tarmac ends at the Rawdah which is about 180km north of Riyadh. You need a 4WD to navigate the Wadi. You can continue south west to Rowdat Nourah (GC10ZWM) and close the loop in Riyadh.
