For old time Dubuquer’s you may remember the old magic shop on Dodge street by the motel and the Viking Lounge. This has since been torn down and replaced by the new and improved Hwy. 20. Now there are remnants of the foundation of the magic shop and a new Silos and Smokestack sign. I have no clue about this sign. I guess I missed the memo on that one. This cache is the same type as “Upper Catfish Trail”. Enjoy the climb from the bottom or attempt from the top. Bottom is easier. Park at N 42° 29.577 W 90° 40.010 for the bottom attack. The cache coordinates may not be exact due to the trees. I was showing a 30’ accuracy. If you pass Dubuque FDRY Co 22 Dubuque IA or a dead mattress skeleton along the way you are on the right track. Or try it from Cardiff.
Challenging terrain either way. Can’t drive a blue truck to this one. (insiders)
