Cmentarz:
Na szczycie wysokiego wzgórza nad Tuchowem
znajduje sie cmentarz wojskowy z I WS. Pochowanych jest tutaj 137
zolnierzy austro-wegierskich i 97 rosyjskich. Jest to projekt
Heinricha Scholza. W centralnym miejscu cmentarza znajduje sie
masywny pomnik kamienny z drewnianym krzyzem na szczycie. Na tylnej
scianie pomnika znajduje sie kamienna tablica z inskrypcja w jezyku
niemieckim:
Nie ubolewajcie nad tym, ze nasze usta zamilkly
To nasze groby beda wam mówic o umilowaniu ojczyzn.
Duze nagromadzenie cmentarzy w okolicy Tuchowa jest efektem
zacieklych walk, jakie toczyly sie tu w grudniu 1914 i maju 1915.
Ostateczne zdobycie przez Austraików Tuchowa rozpoczelo odwrót
armii rosyjskiej z rejonu rzeki Bialej.

The Cemetery:
On the top of a high hill near Tuchów there is a
war cemetery from WWI. 137 Austro-Hungarian soldiers and 97 Russian
are buried there. It's design of Heinrich Scholz. In the center of
the cemetery there is a massive memorial with a wooden cross on the
top. In the back wall of the memorial there is a stone plaque with
inscription in German language:
Don't grieve that our mouths became silent
Our graves will tell you about affection to the
fatherlands.
Concentration of cemeteries in Tuchów neighbourhood is a result of
fierce battles held there in December 1914 and May 1915. The
ultimate capture of Tuchów by Austrians prompted the retreat of
Russian army from the river Biala region.

The container includes a logbook, pencil and
items for trade.
