This cache is hidden close to Hock Cliff which is a well known site for collection of fossils from the Jurassic period.

Hock Cliff is an important site for fossil collectors. The cliff itself is an SSSI so special care needs to be taken there as it is protected under English law. You can collect fossils from the shoreline and the base of the cliff but you MUST NOT collect anything from the cliff itself. You can find Ammonites, Molluscs, Shells and Crinoids just lying on the ground. The shoreline can get VERY muddy and the river is tidal so be sure to check before travelling - keep an eye on GeoKids & GeoHounds !

The cache itself is hidden above the cliff, close to the Severn Way footpath. To reach the cache find a parking spot and take one of the public footpaths to link up with the Severn Way. A spot for 1-2 cars can be found at N51 47.013 W002 23.640.
