Hast du gerade den Zug verpasst? Oder hat dein Zug eine ordentliche Verspätung? Warum sich nicht einfach etwas die Zeit vertreiben? Tatsächlich regnet es an 150 Tagen im Jahr, aber du wirst bei diesem Cache nicht nass werden. Dieser Multi-Cache kann zur Gänze im Bahnhofsareal absolviert werden. Daher ist es mit den GPS-Koordinaten der Stages nicht immer so einfach.

Keinesfalls sind die Gleisanlagen oder abgesperrte Bereiche zu betreten !

Did you just miss your train? Or is your train delayed? Why don't you shorten your time? In fact, on 150 days of a year it is raining in Salzburg, but you will not become wet when you are doing this cache. This multi cache can be done right within the railway station area. So you have sometimes to estimate the coords of the stages.

Never enter the railway track or other restricted areas !

Stage 1: Eingangshalle des Bahnhofes

Von den Headerkoordinaten zur Stage 1 sind es nur 15 Meter durch den Eingang in südöstlicher Richtung. Die Eingangshalle des Bahnhofs wurde im Jugendstil errichtet und ist grossteils mit Adneter Korallenmarmor getäfelten Wänden ausgestattet. Oben an den hohen Wänden der Eingangshalle befinden sich zehn Bilder aus Keramikfliesen mit Motiven aus Salzburg, die im Zuge des letzten Bahnhofsumbaues restauriert wurden. Stage 1: Entrance Hall

From the header coordinates just go just 15 meters through the door in southeast direction. The entrance hall of the station is built in art nouveau ("Jugendstil"). It has marble walls of "Adneter Korallenmarmor". At the top of the walls you can see ten pictures showing scenes of Salzburg. These are made of ceramic tiles and were restored during the recent renovation of the Salzburg station. Further information about the Salzburg station you can get here.

Die erste Aufgabe ist es, diesen gezeigten Ausschnitt zu finden. Der gesuchte Ausschnitt befindet sich an einer der Wände der Eingangshalle, jedoch nicht oberhalb von zwei Metern.

Wenn du die Stelle gefunden hast, miß wie im Bild unten dargestellt, den Abstand zum Boden von dem angegebenen Punkt aus.

Now, your first job is to find that shown section. The wanted section is located at one of the walls of the entrance hall, but not above two meters height.

If you have found the spot, measure the distance between the floor and the dot shown in the picture.

Stage 2: Rolltreppe

Unmittelbar bei der Stage 2 ist eine Gruppe von 3 Rolltreppen. Der interessante Gegenstand ist die rechte der drei Rolltreppen. Hier musst du es schaffen die Stufen der Rolltreppe zu zählen, nur die in einem Moment gleichzeitig sichtbaren, wohlgemerkt. Vielleicht hast du aber Glück und die Rolltreppe ist außer Betrieb, dann zählt sichs halt deutlich leichter.

B = Anzahl der in voller Höhe sichtbaren Stufen der Rolltreppe (d.h. im Zweifelsfall abgerundet).

At stage 2, you can see a group of three escalators. The object of interest is the right escalator of the three. Here, you have to count the number of the steps of the escalator (only those steps visible at one moment). Maybe, you are lucky and the escalator is out of order and you can count them easily.

B = Number of visisble steps of the escalator (occasionally rounded down).

Bei Stage 3 sind unzählige Individuen an den Wänden abgebildet. Alle Darstellungen sind schwarz auf gelbem Grund, wie in dem Beispiel unten.
Die meisten der Bilder zeigen die Köpfe von mehr oder weniger berühmten Personen. Aber es sind nicht ausschließlich Menschen dargestellt.
Wieviele vierbeinige Säugetiere sind unter den abgebildeten Menschen?

C = Anzahl der dargestellten, vierbeinigen Säugetiere in der gesamten Bilderserie.

At Stage 3 varios individuals are shown on the walls. All of them are painted black on yellow colored walls, just like the examples below.
Most of the paintings show heads of more or less famous humans. But there are not only humans shown.
How many four legged mammals can you find among all those depicted humans?

C = Number of four legged mammals shown in this series of paintings.

Das Logbuch ist separat und ohne einen Cache-Behälter versteckt. Zum Bergen bitte ein Stück Draht mitnehmen. Bitte beim Zurücklegen aufpassen, dass der nächste bei der Bergung keine Probleme hat und Muggels den Cache doch nicht sehen können.

The logbook is hidden separately without a cache. In order to be able to grab the logbook please take a peace of wire with you. Please take care, especially when putting it back, such that your successor does not have problems and muggels cannot see the cache.
