In honor of our annual hike, qualifying for their WEBELOS Badge, our boys placed this cache themselves in Point Defiance Park.
WEBELOS Cub Scouts (standing for "WE'll BE LOyal Scouts!".) are 10 and 11 year old Cub Scouts preparing for graduation into the Boy Scout program. And they are enjoying learning the technology of GPS, and how to manipulate it. So pretend you are ten again- or better yet, find a ten year old to go with you!
Park at the Boathouse, and walk toward Owens Beach until you come to a trailhead near the second cement bench. Prepare for a climb following two quick switchbacks on the trail!
The container is an ammo can filled with goodies the cub scouts liked!
