The Arcade Garden Club, which created Gateway Garden, puts on an annual Garden Walk where community members tour each other's yards, exchange ideas and get to know each other. A strong sense of community among residents in South Pullman centers around a shared belief that beautification creates a more pleasant community, and the lavish gardens in the community reflect that belief.
