Kennack Kingdom Kache Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Delveselves: Went for a winter walk on Kennack Sands on Sunday 11th January 2009. I knew that the last log for the cache had been a "Did Not Find!" but was unaware that there had been two more of the same type over the Christmas/New-Year period.
Cache has been muggled! We believe that campers may have ruined this cache as there are signs of campfires, tent-pegs, & even small rags of canvas scattered amongst the area.
As two of our four caches have now gone; we will hide two or three when we can.

Geocache Description:

This cache is situated at the back of the beautiful beach of Kennack Sands; approximately 5km from St.Keverne and 9km from Helston. The cache is safe for everyone. However some wellie boots would be highly ideal in wet and muddy weathers. The cache rating is 2/2.

Parking is available the beach car park at the cost of £3.00 however you may be able to find a parking space somewhere on the hill if you are lucky.
On the beach there are two "snack shacks". Walk up the path behind the nearest one to the toilets and turn right when you reach the toilets. Continue onwards following the path (take no detours) until you reach a sign saying "GWENDREATH" on it.

Here take a left turn.

Walk up this path occasionally looking back and admiring the views of the beach. This path does have some light overgrowth (please put it in your log if the overgrowth is becoming heavy). When you reach some steps then you are near to the cache. Turn around and take a look at the views of the beach. Perhaps you could upload a couple of images into your log if you successfully find the cache.
The cache is hidden in a plastic container with a green lid. Inside it is a logbook, pencil, sharpener asnd the usual selection of geocaching goodies. Chief Elf has made a special FTF certificate for the first geocacher to find the cache.
It is now time to start hunting!!!

Best of luck.

The Delves Elves.
