Arkanum II - Die
Hohepriesterin
In Anlehnung an die Großen Arkana des Tarots
nimmt mein 8. Cache in dieser Reihe Bezug auf die Karte "II - Die
Hohepriesterin".
Bei der heiligen
Hildegard
or don’t trade".
Viel Spaß bei der Suche!
My 8th cache in this series follows the
themes of the Major Arcana and refers to the card "II - The High
Priestress".
Without doubt
Saint
Hildegard of Bingen was one of the most outstanding
female figures of the Middle Ages. For a long time the emphasis was
placed on her mystical appearance. But she was rather a protagonist
in many fields acting as visionary, poet, composer, healer,
theologian, and naturalist.
The coordinates will lead
you to the ruins of the monastery
Disibodenberg,
her primary residence. Hildegard spent here more than 40 years, and
after the death of Saint Jutta of Sponheim she became abbess of the
convent. You will find a film canister in the ruins next to the
stairs containing the coordinates of the main cache. To
find this Micro you must neither move any stone nor you have to
dig! Just in case of need, there is another film canister
with the target coordinates deposited at the foot of a conspicuous
tree. Look for it in the center of the monastery area.
Please note that you
can enter the area free of charge at the coordinates N 49° 46.546'
and E 007° 41.966'!!
Among other items the
cache contains initially Hildegard’s first visionary book "Sci Vias
Dei, Know the Ways of the Lord", commonly known simply as
"Scivias". Since this is a theme cache, please only exchange one
item per person (I would be happy if it matches the theme in the
broadest sense) – and, if possible, according to the motto: "Trade
up, trade even, or don’t trade".
Enjoy the hunt!
