Flat terrain with access via public footpath. The cache is placed close to the original airfield as possible. (Less than 0.2m).
In the Defence of the Realm is a series which we are developing and covers mainly airfields used during and shortly after the Second World War If you wish to add to the series please feel free to do so.
Merston airfield was located close to Tangmere and Westhampnett airfields and played an vital role in the war effort.
