Die Marktgemeinde Straß im Straßertale (NÖ) liegt am Südrand
des Waldviertels unmittelbar an der Grenze zum Weinviertel.
Die Landschaft ist geprägt von sanften Hügeln, Weingärten und
Wäldern. Ideal zum Wandern, Entspannen und Genießen.
Für die 1520 Einwohner zählt der Weinbau als wichtigste Erwerbsquelle.
Von 570 ha Weingartenfläche werden Weine gekeltert, die mittlerweile
national und international zu den besten gehören.

The market town of Straß im Straßertale (Lower Austria)
lies on the southern edge of the Waldviertel close to
the border to the Weinviertel. The landscape is marked
by rolling hills, vineyards and forests.
Perfect for walking, relaxing and enjoying.
The main source of employment for the 1520 inhabitants
is winemaking. On 570 hectares of vineyard land they
create wine, which is now nationally and internationally
well known and belong to the best.
