Geocache Description:

Aurora 7 was the fourth Mercury flight it was flown by Scott Carpenter. Carpenter's flight was different than the rest of the flights. He used up almost all his fuel in orbit and had to manually put the spacecraft in reentry attitude. He also had to fire his retro rockets manually. Because of this he over shot the splash down zone where the recovery carrier was. He sat in the Atlantic for two hours before being rescued. The cache is an old Peanut Butter jar hanging in the tree. Pictures are welcome! I want to see how many pics I can get!
