I tried to place a cache at Eagle lake but it looks like most of the area is closed for restoration. The lake was full of mallards today. This is a short distance away and is close by an amazing old tree that is peppered with woodpecker holes. The cache is in the nearby rockpile(on the same side as the tree) and should be an easy find. There is poison oak nearby but you do not need to go too near it. Cache starts out with a $1 bill, a TB, CITO kit(not needed out here), carabiner and log book and pen.
