Der Galateabrunnen wurde 1890 von Otto Rieth erbaut am oberen
Ende der Eugensstaffel erbaut. Weitere Informationen findet Ihr
hier. Auch Kinder haben hier ihre Freude, der Brunnen ist
durchaus badetauglich und der "Pinguin" sorgt für den Rest.
Der Eugensplatz gehört zu meinen Lieblingsplätzen in Stuttgart,
v.a. an warmen Sommerabenden. Es lohnt sich, den Cache von
N48°46.693 E9°11.340 anzugehen, dort kann man auch eher einen
Parkplatz ergattern. Bei N48°46.665 E9°11.435 kann man sich dann
für den Aufstieg belohnen (offen bis 22:00).
Wegen der Muggeldichte ist der Cache ein paar Meter vom Brunnen
entfernt, müsste ohne große Probleme greifbar sein.

The "Galatea-Fountain" was built in 1890 by Otto Rieth at the

a quick dip in the water and the "Pinguin" is always there for
kids...
The Eugensplatz is one of my favorite places in Stuttgart,
especially on warm summer evenings. It's worth to approach the
cache from N48°46.693 E9°11.340, it's also more likely to find a
parking spot there. At N48°46.665 E9°11.435 you can treat yourself
for the little ascend (open until 22:00).
Because of the high density of muggles, the cache is a few
meters away from the fountain, it should be accessible without too
much trouble.
