Geocache Description:

An easy to reach park and grab micro-cache with a great view.

This micro-cache is hidden at an area known as Chadborne's Landing. It is a small rest area located in Standish, Maine along Route 35 at the end of Route 237. This small parking area is on land granted to the town of Standish by the Portland Water District. This spot offers a fantastic view of Sebago Lake. If you look in the direction of 325 degrees you can see Mount Washington on a clear day. It is best viewed in the morning as the rising sun illuminates the mountain.

There is also a foot path off to the right, but it is not open for foot traffic at all times.

Please do not go beyond the wooden barrier. It is not necessary to do so to find the cache. The area beyond the barrier is a buffer zone for the lake designed to be protected from foot and vehicle traffic.

Also, you do not have to move anything at all and there is no need to tear anything up to retrieve this cache.

Please take note of the exact hiding spot and positioning of the cache when you find it and replace it exactly as you found it.

NOTE: Please bring your own writing utensil to sign the log with as the cache is too small to hold one.

Please remember to cache in and trash out.
