How Geocaching Works
Chances are you will have to do some fancy GPS'n to get here. It is an easy walk getting here, with the exception of a few thorns guarding the chach site.
The site is 1 mile from Hwy 2, at 40*37.428' and 91*41.916' and 1/2 mile from where you can park the car at 40*37.839' and 91*41.919'. No motorized vehicles beyond this point, note from Iowa DNR. Walk about 1/4 mile to 40*38.056 and 91*41.922. Turn left into the pines. This is a nice easy walk to the cache. You will need to get off the path after a little walk through the pines.
