- - - Mission Briefing - - -
MISSION: Locate Harvey McMillan before the enemy and get that formula!

MISSION INTEL: No sign of the double agent, the enemy must have terminated his contract. Our initial formula is wrong, but we now have an idea what it does. Using precise atmospheric measurements and orbital mechanics, the user can intercept any high-altitude radio transmissions. With this formula our satellite communications can be jammed and overwritten! The enemy is trying desperately to get their hands on the scientist who developed the formula, Professor Harvey McMillan. Get to him first and get the real formula!

Latest intel pinpoints McMillan at various distances from three of our observation posts
Location 1: (A) N40 48.937 W74 09.527
Location 2: (B) N40 49.005 W74 09.438
Location 3: (C) N40 48.932 W74 09.412

MANDATORY GEAR: G.P.S. receiver and extra batteries * Mission briefing document * Writing instrument and personal log pad

ASSEMBLY AREA: Park is kid friendly and bikes are allowed. Park at the following coordinates: N40 48.892 W74 09.477

OBJECTIVE: At each location you will find a four digit number set.
At location 1 find a four digit number set ABCD. (to confirm the numbers add up to 20) The number of meters to McMillan (final cache) from location 1 = ((ABCD-47)/39).
At location 2 find a four digit number set ABCD. (to confirm the numbers add up to 17) The number of meters to McMillan (final cache) from location 2 = ((EFGH X 0.5)+429.5)/(4 X 5).
At location 3 find a four digit number set ABCD. (to confirm the numbers add up to 20) The number of meters to McMillan (final cache) from location 3 = ((IJKL)*(IJKL) -15,484,159), (a positive integer!).

Calculate where they intersect, this is McMillan’s current locale. Find him! Copy his formula (blue keytag) and evacuate to friendly territory.
Please return the cache and hide it better than you found it and leave the key tag in the cache!

HOSTILE ACTIVITY: Be discreet! Steer clear of the playground, it an enemy training camp. It is imperative that you are not seen, heard, or discovered by the enemy. As always, if you become lost, captured, or discovered, Cache Mission HQ will disavow any knowledge of you or your mission. Other operators may be in the area, feel free to team up.

EXTRACTION: We are working on a jet pack but the prototype isn’t ready, so extract on foot.

LAST WORDS: E-mail the formula to Cache Mission HQ. An operator will direct you to proceed with a mission command log. Should the cache be compromised contact Cache Mission HQ immediately
