Geocache Description:

BRING TWEEZERS!!!
This is the fifth cache in our series of eight "Oz" caches on the Kinzua Valley Trail beginning at the Westline Trailhead. The trail is being developed by the Kinzua Valley Trail Club. Currently, it is approximately 2.5 miles. For more information on the trail and the club, go to: www.kinzuavalleytrailclub.org. Many thanks to the Kinzua Valley Trail Club for granting permission to place these caches along the trail.

In the 1939 musical movie "The Wizard of Oz" in an apple grove/orchard full of apple trees, a hungry Dorothy tries to take a bright red apple from a hostile, garrulous human-like tree that has fallen under the Wicked Witch's sorcery. "What do you think you're doing?" the tree scolds her.

Often when Curly Top and I are caching in the woods and the tree cover tends to darken our path, we can be heard chanting, as Dorothy and her friends did, "Lions and tigers and bears, oh my."

Are you getting a sense that these trees have some life?

This is a micro and tweezers will be needed to retrieve the log. Also, please bring your own pen.
