Pull the Chain Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

tiddalik: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the same area where the first payable gold was found in Australia. If you have already done "Oh Fear! The Gold Rush!" by GeoMonkeys you already know about the area. If not you can visit their cache site and it will explain how to get there, a bit of history and it will also give you another cache to find.

If you start from the turnstile in the main camping area, you can do a loop walk with a few history signs and lots of things to explore on the way. With a couple of slight detours off the main walking track, both caches can be found. Take a torch and be careful as there are a lot of open mine shafts around.
