MadMin: As there's been no action taken with this cache for a significant amount of time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. This geocache takes you down a wooded path that used to be covered in trash. About a fifth of the path is gravel, the rest is packed dirt. After heavy rainfall, this path can be very muddy. If your map says that this geocache is on train tracks, that is not the case. The path no longer
carries trains and there are no longer any train tracks here. There is said to be some poison ivy nearby, so please be careful!
Included with the cache are some trash bags.The idea with this, which I call a green cache, is you take a trash bag once you find a cache and take as much trash as you can on your way out, despite there not being as much trash. By doing this, you can have fun finding a geocache, clean the enviroment, and keep the path clean for non-geocachers and makes looking for the geocache more enjoyable for geocachers. The entance to this path is slightly hidden,but more obvious if you know where it is. The path is right across the street from Hemenway Elementry school, right at the end of the crosswalk. There is two paths there, so take the left one with the gravel, not the one with asphalt. An alternate route, which is much shorter, forces you to park at the side of the road. The road is frost street, and the alternate path entrance coorodinates are N 42 19.366 , W 071 26.152. if you take this entrance, the route's terrain becomes really more like a 1. Have fun looking for this cache!
