"Store blåmann" (The big blue man) is one of the mountains close to Tromsø with a spectacular view. To the west you can see the atlantic and to the other sides you see mountains, islands and Tromsø itself.
The hike is 1000 altitude meters, 3.9 km in length. You should only do the hike in good weather because the terrain is very steep and you walk mostly on rocks, which will become very slippery in rain. Do not do the hike if you are afraid of heights.
The cache is a curver plastic box. It is hidden in a natural shelter formed by two big rocks. When you are in the shelter you will be able to see the sky from the inner part. The cache is then hidden in a pile of rocks to the right.

We enlarged the picture, with a view from the cache, on a plastic plate in the format 100 cm x 36 cm. Because the company delivering this enlargement (allkopiprivat.no) had a severly delayed delivery, they decided to give us three copies of the picture!!! So, the first two geocachers finding the cache can have a copy if they want. Just send me a message, and I'll give you my address where you can pick the picture up.
