Geocache Description:

In a wood. Off a well made path and then onto a less well used path. Cross the burn and you have gone too far. It's in a large dead tree that lies across a small ditch. A smallish stone covers the entry hole.

This is the far end of the Anderson Plantation in the lands of Lainshaw. An ancient Montgomerie enclave in the lands of the Cunninghames. They murdered the 4th. Earl of Eglinton (a Montgomerie) in a surprise attack at the Annick Ford. Not to worry (too much) It all happened some centuries ago now. Enjoy the walks and look for other Geocaches. See 'Corsehill' on Wikipedia.

Please tighten the lid fully to keep out the elements.
