Two stage multicache in an old stage on the way to Tohoku.
The Shirasawa-juku is the first stage in the Oshu highway maintained in Edo period.
As for the root at the stage, because the head of the village had volunteered for the guide when Ieyasu Tokugawa started to attacked Uesugi before fight of the Sekigahara, the Shirasawa-juku stage was permitted to be composed of the distinguished services.
Quiet and tasteful streets remain in Shirasawa-juku now, because the Oshu highway have moved to the Route4 highway, and the by-pass roard which avoided the stage has been completed.
There is a traditional Japanese Sake brewery in Shirasawa-juku. Please enjoy local Sake flavor!

There were no parking space in Shirasawa-juku.
I recommend you park your car (and seek a cache) in Shirasawa-park before visit there.

The cache is two stage multi.
At the first, look for two numbers. It shows minutes of coordinates for the cache.

I found it!

The multi-cache to look for while watching the pure water stream which flowed through the downtown was a very comfortable thing.
