This cache is part one of a series of caches
which will provide a little trivia on the area you are searching.
This cache is hidden in the Brookside-Meadow Drive Parksite. This
parksite is located on the Root River Parkway between Meadow Drive
and Brookside Drive.
In 1999, this
parksite was acquired from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage
District (MMSD) through the acquisition of floodplain properties.
Several homes were removed or razed from this
parkside.
As you search for
the cache, take some time to look around and imagine what the area
was like prior to 1999, when houses were part of the scenery. You
can still see evidence of trees and plants which were part of
people's yards.
In keeping with
this theme, you are looking for a hiding place that is nearly as
large as a small house. Cache is a small camo container containing
just a log book. Please bring your own
pen.
