Geocache Description:

This is one of the six (6) "legs" to the "South Sound Boondoggle Series". At each of the six "legs" (caches), you not only find another cache for your repertoire but find one of the six needed clues to the final cache.

This is the cache page for the (replacement) of Leg 3 of the cache Series affectionately known as the "South Sound Boondoggle Series".

The original Boondoggle Series Leg 3 was in a "Mini Forest" which has now been completely bulldozed and cleared and the original Ammo Box cache is "history"

Don’t attempt this cache with the web posted coordinates. The above coordinates pointed to the nearest golden retriever that happened to appear just after I hid the cache.  To obtain the actual coordinates for the cache, you need to answer the really really fun question shown below.

During the flight of Apollo 13 came the very famous line, "Houston, we've had a problem".  Which of the three Apollo Astronauts first uttered that famous line?

Your answer to the really really fun question is:

North Coord.

West Coord.

Jack Swigert 47o 02.909 122o 51.195
Jim Lovell 47o 02.909 122o 51.195
Fred Haise 47o 02.132 122o 50.844
Neil Armstrong 47o 03.277 122o 51.891

OK ... on the same row and to the right of your answer to the really really fun question above are the coordinates for this "leg".  So ... get up off your chair and go find it!!

Other than being able to trade really really cool junk in this cache, what you are wanting to obtain from this cache is a letter (just one monstrously important Big Bold Letter) which you will need (along with the other five letters obtained from the other five cache "legs") in order to be able to find the final cache)

On the webpage for the "South Sound Boondoggle Series - Final II" will be the "formula" for converting the six letters that you found in the six cache "legs" to the coordinates for the final cache.
