The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien, introduced readers (and eventually movie goers) to the world of Middle Earth and creatures such as Elves, Trolls, Orcs, Ents, Dwarves, Dragons, and of course ... Hobbits! The wonderful world of Sci-Fi Fantasy was born and has expanded in fantastic directions.
This cache is not hidden in Middle Earth, but it will take you "there and back again" on a Hobbit-like journey through the woods where you might see some mystical creatures and dangerous predators like the tick, greenbrier, and poison ivy. Also watch out for standing water on the trails after heavy rains. Parking is available at the trailhead in Breezewood, where your adventure begins.
While on your journey you can search for Gandalf's magical staff. According to the wizard "You Shall Not Pass", but I believe in you!
Find the staff, find and sign the log, and have a lot of fun. Please rehide well that others might be able to enjoy the journey.
