The cache is not at the posted coordinates. Solve the puzzle below to determine the actual coordinates.

The cache is hidden at N 37.A.B W 122.C.D, where...

A = The uniform number of the only person to have worn the uniform (as player or manager) of all four Major League Baseball teams that played in New York City in the 20th Century (while each team was in New York City).

B = The length of the famous home run hit by Mickey Mantle on April 17, 1953 - in meters (rounded to the nearest whole digit).

C = Uniform number worn by the 1977 Cy Young award winner for most of his baseball career.

D = Number of losses that the Cubs had under the man who was manager from 1879-1897.

The cache is a small tube covered in black camo tape. Be sure to wear long pants and shoes/socks that cover your feet and ankles well, as there will be some plants and poison oak that wish to challenge your passage. Parking is easy to find near the cache, but read the brown cautionary signs before you choose your parking space.

In the log, say what your favorite sports team is. If you don't have one, name your favorite sport... aside from geocaching, that is! ;-) My family roots for the NY Yanks...
