Vom Karlschütt Parkplatz gehts erst mal 1.5km flach durch schönen
Wald bevor man auf die ersten Badebecken des Grabens stößt. Von
hier kann man im Bachbett hochklettern (stellenweise etwas
schwierig und hat auch schon ein Opfer gefordert) oder steigt auf
deutlichen Steig auf bis der Weg vor einer steilen Wand eine
Linkskehre macht. Spätestens hier muss man ins Bachbett queren.
Unterhaltsam gehts über, unter und zwischen riesigen
Konglomeratbrocken aufwärts bis man vor einer kleinen Klamm steht.
Hier ist der Cache unter einem Felskopf versteckt.
Schlechter GPS-Empfang - Trittsicherheit und Spoilerphoto sollten
dabei sein. Der Cache lässt sich gut mit Karli-Canyon,
Karlhochkogel und Über den Wolken kombinieren.
Start at the Karlschütt Parking area and
follow the level path through the alpine forest until you reach the
first bathing holes of the canyon. Here you can either climb up
directly in the creekbed (this approach is not easy and has already
claimed a victim) or continue on the path until you reach a
switchback in front of a large rockface.
Leave the path, climb down into the creekbed and climb over, under
and between the large rocks until you reach the mouth of a small
gorge.
