For many years, Britain’s most elite Special Forces, The SAS, have used the Brecon Beacons National Park as part of their initial training and selection. But do you think you’re tough enough?
The cache is a 2.5 litre Tupperware box, hidden in the quieter, western area of the National park. The cache is located at the co-ordinates given above, however, it is up to you to choose a start point from which to attempt the cache. Although the ground is relatively easy underfoot, this cache should only be attempted by cachers who are able to navigate using a map and compass. On a good day the going is easy, but the weather can change very quickly in this isolated area, making navigation extremely difficult if your GPS was to fail. You should be well prepared and wearing suitable footwear and clothing. Part of the challenge of this cache is to pick your own start point, so every visitor to this cache will have their own unique experience. A spoiler picture of the cache location is provided below. It is highly recommended that you take a copy of this with you.
