This is always a good spot to stop and take a rest while hiking through Sycamore Canyon. There is a large stand of dormant poison oak stalks just west of here, so be careful.

The Team Dakiba's "Mighthy Pair" cache used to be across the road. (Major hint). I remember it taking about a half hour to find it because of the whacky way your GPSr spins around at this particular location. Also, because of Dana's reputation, I was thrown off by the cache name. After all, at the time, there was a pair of "Porto pottys", a pair of bear proof trash receptacles, a pair of picnic tables. It turns out that he spelled it wrong. (Or did he?) On later hikes, I remember walking by about six more times and simply looking over and seeing this great cache. Then, one day, it was gone. It was a great cache, and I have duplicated it at least twice.

Oh, By the way, your reader will always be 40-60 feet off. Read the hints, read the logs, and stay out of the Poison Oak.

I have been overlooking this section of trail for quite awhile. I'm out today to catch up on all the caches here. Heeding the previous logs regarding the coordinates accuracy, I spent several minutes looking in likely spots, far from GZ. When I came to my senses, I went to GZ and started over. Found it quickly. Thanks for the hide. TNLNSL.

Took a bike ride thru the canyon. Miss having "What a pair" here, but were able to find the new cache. Note: This is a picnic spot for mosquitoes! Be quick! TFTC

Found this one on my second try. As others have noted, GZ was about 50' away for me, but in the same spot it was last time. I didn't see any PO around the cache but the footing was a little unsteady to say the least. TFTC!

This one took a while because of the crazy coordinates bouncing around, and because of the poison oak. It has grown a bit, and I had to step on a few leaves and tiny sprigs to retrieve the cache. It will likely get worse.

Took a short break after finding the cache. The rest stop was an ideal place. Left a quarter and nickel. Took nothing. Signed log. TFTC.
