This mystery cache will require you to find the correct coordinates which I have been written on the underside of the caches lids that I have placed within this area they will be listed with the mystery cache reference so you can find them. You fill in the letters with numbers as you find them The coordinates are for the best parking place although there are others. They are quite easy to find and are all within the park boundaries The overall theme that I have given to this is hidden within??? I am very fond of trees so bear that in mind when looking If you are very fortunate to find the cache without the full coordinates that’s okay The cache is a 30mm ammo box in brown with a green geocache .com sticker on it Some information about the park The Park was first enclosed about three centuries ago and formed part of the landscape grounds of a large mansion known as Wanstead House, which stood on what is now Wanstead Golf Course. It was not until 1880 that the Corporation of London acquired the grounds, and it was opened to the public in on August 1, 1882. As an example of the type of amenity area attached to such a ‘Great House’, the continued enclosure of the Park proper was felt justified and steps are taken to maintain that aspect. For many years this essentially consisted of ‘keeping nature under control’, whereas in the rest of Epping Forest the form of an ancient forest perpetuated by natural regeneration is maintained. However in more recent years a variety of work has been undertaken to "formalise" aspects of the Park in order to enhance the image of the grounds of a Great House. These have included the plantings of a double avenue of sweet chestnut trees, planting of yew hedges and serpentine lines, attempted clearing of the mounts and changes to the gardens of the Temple. In 2001 the Park was re-classified as a Grade 11* historic park by English Heritage. Please note there is no set route for all the caches....You can email me if you want to confirm your coordinates WANSTEAD_PARK </ a>

Anyone who has visited the 5 extant caches and emails me the correct letter/number combination I will mail you the missing numbers. The series is currently in a bit of a state due to damaged caches and me losing which cache has which numbers. If in doubt and your msising a number try a 0 ;) Many thanks to aB5dEglYeS5P and Insp-Gadget for providing the missing numbers.
