Geocache Description:

Located on the Connection Trail that connects the Sierra Trail and Freedom Trail, which are both part of the Stony Kill Environmental Education Center. The cache is located between Baxtertown Road and Stony Kill Road.

The cache is a small lock n lock container that was painted with camo paint. The trail that it is on is not used that often and it can get difficult to locate the markers and the actual trail itself. Please be sure to follow the additional waypoints that I have added below. The markers are there, you just have to look for them. Some of the trail travels on a rock wall, so please be careful when navigating along the rocks.

Since this trail connects the Sierra Trail with the Freedom Trail, one may actually be able to walk the entire length and find some of the Stony Kill caches along the way. Please be aware that this would be a very long hike. Also, the additional waypoints that I have included are all set up from coming in off of Stony Kill Road. The parking would be at the Freedom Trail parking area and the trailhead is just across the road from the parking lot.

Please try to not park off the side of the road on Baxtertown Road. I cannot guarantee that you would find the trailhead or not get a parking ticket. I also do not want to go against the policies of Stony Kill Farm. They have designated parking areas for the use of their trail system. They are wonderful people and have been extremely accomodating with regards to the placement of geocaches on their land. To be safe, please use the parking area at Freedom Trail (shorter hike) or Sierra Trail (longer hike).

I have placed 3 Travel Bugs inside of this cache. I am a fifth grade teacher and these are our class Travel Bugs. Each one has a mission and it is very important to the kids that these 3 get moving. Thanks for helping the students!

PLEASE LOCK ALL LOCKS ON THE CONTAINER AND ZIP ALL OF THE BAGS. Thanks so much and I hope that you have fun!
