This cache has been archived.

Hemlock: This cache has been brought to my attention via a "needs archived" log. This cache has been missing for over 10 months, which should be more than enough time to check on it and replace it if needed. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don't think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache.

When/if this cache is replaced, please email me at hemlock@geocachingadmin.com and I'll be more than happy to take a look at your cache again. If it is still is within the guidelines for cache placement and posting, it will then be unarchived.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks for your understanding,
Hemlock

Geocache Description:

The trail to this cache overlooks a beatiful view of Morro Bay estuary. Drive to the parking area for Cabrillo Peaks Loop trail. Take the Turtle Rock trail all the way to the end.

There is approximately 1 1/2 miles of very moderate climbing until the last hundred feet. Some of the time you are on the old quarry road where you will come to a locked gate. Immediately before the gate the trail makes a sharp left for a 100 foot climb up a somewhat steep and rocky part of the trail. Therehere is some fallen tree debris around but the trail is passable.

The cache is in a 4" X 6" plastic box, painted camo. When placed it contained:
A small spiral log book and pen
A geo tracking bug attached to a little bear, "Bugsy Baseball Bear".
A letter explaining the "goal" of Bugsy and his bug (note: we changed the bear's name to Bugsy).
A flower/mirror key chain
A colorful eraser
A gold tennis racquet key holder in a plastic case.
