Cache located in Arbuckle State Forest. Southeast of Frostproof. Turn on Rucks Dairy Road. Cross the bridge and park in hikers parking lot. To avoid serious bushwacking, walk south on dirt road to Florida Trail entrance. You take the Orange Trail and I will take the Blue Trail AND I will get to the cache before you. No extra bushwacking required. Cache is near the trail. Originally placed for Fishersfinders who were on vacation in Florida.
Cache is ammo box and it originally had a couple of small items left by Fishersfinders. NO METAL DETECTORS ARE ALLOWED IN THE FLORIDA STATE FORESTS. Suggestion: Hike in along the Blue Trail and return along the Orange Trail.

Did the 3 caches along this trail, along with two others in this forest today. Enjoyed the visit, TFTC!

Even though I read about the quicker way to the cache,we decided to take the longer route. It took us a little while to find because the GPSr was jumping all over the place, but our persistance paid off. Sorry for the late log.TFTH.

Made my way to this cache after leaving the other half of our team sitting in the shade about .25 mile down the trail, on this hot, hot day. Only then did I read the cache page and realize there was a shortcut back. Oh, well not an option for us since we skipped a cache earlier on and Mimi was down the trail lying in the dirt trying making friends with the red ants. Cache took a bit to find, so many places the can could be and no hint. I eventually prevailed.

Thanks
M&M

Glad to find this one & the sign for the blue trail! Taking the blue trail out was way shorter, but it comes w/ a sunburn.
