On November 11, 2007, at this site, Lee van der Bokke, aka TeamAlamo discovered and signed his twenty five thousandth geocache. An early pioneer of 'numbers' geocaching in California, TeamAlamo smashed previous records for numbers of geocaches found both on the national and international level, finally establishing himself as the undisputed geocacher with the most cache finds, worldwide. His indefatigable pursuit of caches has inspired geocachers everywhere, pushing them to go further, climb higher and leave no cache unfound.
This National Historic Landmark was formally dedicated on November 11, 2007, by the Diablo Valley chapter of GeoCachers Anonymous.
