After enjoying finding other people's caches for the last couple of years, I thought it about time I got my finger out and set one myself.
The cache is in my local woodland in Sandiway and is a great place to wander around. On the western boundary is "Blakemere Craft Centre" (N53`13.698 W002` 36.153) which now seems to prefer "Blakemere Shopping Experience" and is a good place to park the car, and the wife, if she is averse to mud and undergrowth. On the eastern edge of the wood is Kennel Lane leading down to Cheshire Kennels, home in the mid 18th century to "Blue Cap," a famous foxhound who won 500 guineas for his owner Squire John Barry Smith in a race at Newmarket.
Although the wood is popular with dog walkers, the cache location is off the beaten track and it's unlikely you will have to WAIT 'A Mo' for muggles, but very likely you will have to WAIT 'A Mo' or longer, for a good signal.
Congratulations to Phil from Philpamandrob and Dillonthedog for a joint First to Find.
