Lost at Sea Traditional Geocache
Lostboy1966: This location is probably too muggle-prone to risk replacing the hide. Thanks to those who have hunted for it, and also to those that have given back to the game by placing caches of their own.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
a tale of a fateful trip.
That started from this tropic port,
aboard this tiny ship..
OK, this cache might not have all of the high drama and stunning
plot twists of Gilligan’s Island, but the hide spot offers a nice
view of the Norwalk Islands. The location is in a high traffic
area, so stealth is critical - prying eyes are everywhere! The
search area is small, so be warned that if civilians are nearby you
will have to wait them out, or come back another time.
Be careful to hide the container as well as (if not better) than
you found it, as there is a high risk of it being muggled. Any
trades should be left in a ziplock to protect them from the wet
environment. Small swag only for this one!
In the colder seasons, access to parking quite close to the cache
is free; if the entrance post is unmanned, just drive on in. During
the warmer months an entry fee is required for non-residents of
Norwalk. Optional free parking is available at the Marina / Mini
Golf Course just outside and to the right of the beach gates. The
walk will be longer, yet easy and enjoyable.
Cache Notes: The container was placed near 12:00 Noon, with an
accuracy reading of 4’ with WASS lock. FTF is a scratch-off lottery
ticket. In the off season, it seems that the City of Norwalk is
lacking in the maintenance of this park (which ticks me off).
Lostkid and I did some CITO while placing the hide – please do the
same to help keep the reputation of Geocachers high!
