What was the very long “Bairds Creek Grand Tour (BCGT)”, has now been divided into six separate caches. They are very representative of the terrains of the parkway. In addition, a bonus cache is available after all six. These four geocaching teams were able to complete the ‘much too difficult’ original 16 step “Baird Creek Grand Tour”: AstroD-Team (FTF), Crazy Buzzard, What’s Next, & My Ashke.
This is a 2-part multi located at the Northwest corner of the Parkway, consisting of two different sized PVC containers. This area has large trees, standing and fallen; just a little undergrowth; and the creek twists through the area.
Parking is available 44 30.580 87 57.975. Or, if you are hiking or biking (you should be!), there are a couple of parking lots on Baird Creek Road. Remember to take note of the info needed to find the bonus cache.
